If you encounter errors or problems (crashes, slow speed, etc.) while using Chrome, you can reset its settings to bypass these errors. This means that all your settings (homepage, extensions, search provider) will be reset to default (as in a fresh installation)
How to Reset Chrome Browser Settings
1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome menu 
and select “Settings“.

2. Look at the end of the “Settings” options and click on the button “Show advanced settings” link.

3. Scroll down the entire page and “Reset browser settings” button.

4. Click on “Reinstall” button.
5. Restart Google chrome.
