Method 6. FIX Start menu not working using registry.

Modifying the Registry Editor, as described below, is another solution to restoring the functionality of the Start menu. However, it is important to follow the steps below carefully to resolve the issue.

*Note: If the “EnableXamlStartMenu” REG_DWORD value already exists, double-click it and change the value data to 0.

7. Finally click CTRL + ALT + DEL and press the button Power button (lower right), to restart Computer.

Method 7. Create a user account.

If the current user’s profile is compromised, it may also affect the Start menu. In this case, try creating a new user account and see if that fixes the problem with the Start menu.

7. On the login screen, click on a new account to access it.
8. Check if the Start menu works in the new account, and if so, transfer all files and settings from your old account to the new one. *

*Note: If you’re still having problems with the Start menu, reinstalling or reinstalling Windows 10 may be the last resort to fix them.
